Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Detailed Specifications and Price Leaked

HIGHLIGHTS

  • The Mi Note 2 is expected to come two RAM/storage bundles
  • It is also tipped to sport an iris scanner
  • The camera setup to feature 23-megapixel and 12-megapixel Sony sensors
There are been many contrasting rumours about the Mi Note 2. Some claim that the smartphone will sport dual edge display and a dual camera setup, while the others claim only one of them will make it to the smartphone. In any case, Xiaomi has scheduled an event on October 25 where all the official details of the Mi Note successor will be out of the bag once and for all. But before that happens, presentation slides claimed to be for the upcoming event have been leaked on Weibo, revealing all specifications and pricing details of the Mi Note 2.
This leak, first spotted by PhoneArena, leaves very little to the imagination. The slides reveal that the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will feature a 5.7-inch Super Amoled (1440x2560 pixels) display with Force Touch technology. For those unaware, Force Touch (or rather, 3D Touch) was first introduced by Apple on the iPhone 6s, and is a pressure sensitive display technology that Apple uses to provide additional interface options to users. The smartphone is listed as powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor paired with Adreno 530GPU. The smartphone is expected to come in two bundles - 4GB of RAM/ 64GB of storage, and 6GB of RAM/ 128GB of storage.
This leak claims that a dual camera setup is indeed going to be introduced, and the Mi Note 2 will sport two sensors at the back. The first one will be a 23-megapixel Sony IMX318 sensor, and the other one will be a 12-megapixel Sony IMX378 sensor. It will feature a dual-tone LED Flash, support OIS, and 4K video recording. The front camera is said to sport an 8-megapixel sensor.
It packs a huge 4100mAh battery and is backed by the Quick Charge fast charging technology. The Mi Note 2 will support Mi Pay i.e will be NFC-enabled. There's an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner integrated under the display, though we wonder if it's instead under glass but not under the display panel itself, as seen in the Mi 5s. According to the slides, an iris scanner has also been introduced at the front. Apart from NFC, other connectivity options include 4G VoLTE , Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4/5 GHz) MU-MIMO, GPS, and USB Type-C port. The Mi Note 2 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based MIUI 8, and supports dual-SIM slots (Nano + Nano).
As for the price, the 4GB variant is seen to be priced at CNY 2,799 (roughly Rs. 27,800) and 6GB RAM variant is seen to be priced at CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 29,800). In a recent leak, a Jet Black Mi Note 2 was spotted in the wild with a single camera setup at the back and sporting a dual edge screen. Another leak also asserted that the Mi Note 2 will sport a completely bezel-less display. With so many conflicting reports, we recommend users to take all leaks with a pinch of salt.

27 Simple mehndi designs for hands for Karwa Chauth

The most  simple mehndi designs for hands  for Karwa Chauth 2014 Karwa Chauth  is around the corner and I am so excited about getting mehndi done! This time I plan to go with a simple yet quirky design. Don’t want my hands full, however it needs to be a style statement for this year’s most awaited festival for us ladies! There are some basic categories of mehndi designs, such as Gujrati, Rajasthani, Marwari,  Arabic  and African  patterns to choose from. They have certain prominent motifs or symbols that distinguishes one from the other. I just can’t seem to stop experimenting with these styles. From  circles to squares , peacocks and paisleys , checks and dots and what not. But my all-time favorite is a simple, curling vine, of course finger tips covered with thick coating of aromatic mehndi (which is so traditional). Quirky patterns include  traditional  as well as non-traditional patterns tweaked to one’s own liking. This includ...

Kick new song Hangover: Salman Khan’s singing stint is impressive!

The  Kick  star has lent his voice for his new song  Hangover The wait is over.  Hangover  is here! Last time, Salman Khan floored us all with his tapori stint in song  Jumme Ki Raat alongside Jacqueline Fernandez who sizzled with her sultry moves, donning a hot red lace dress. It seems along with giving us killer action sequences and  Dabangg  one liners, our very own Sallu  miyaan  can sing as well! The  Jai Ho  star’s highly anticipated singing stint in  Hangover  is finally out and we are happy to report that the Bhaijaan of B-town has certainly pleasantly surprised us all with his voice which has elements of a sexy twang and a Salman’s casual laid back back feel to it. The song on the whole is romantic, with a hint of zing added to it which makes it appealing to the ears. The tune is catchy and the lyrics are simple, which make  Hangover  a pleasant melody overall. We wonder what the video of ...

I'm not back because of Salman: Mahek

Mahek Chahal, who got evicted from the " Bigg Boss" house earlier this month, is back. In conversation with DT, Mahek not only spoke about her fellow contestants accusing  Salman Khan   of promoting favouritism in the show, but also took digs at Akashdeep Saigal for using foul language and misbehaving with her. "It would be unfair to say that I have been selected as the wild card entry because of Salman Khan. Yeh sarasar jhooth aur bakwaas hai. My supporters saw me being humiliated on the show. If I'm back, it is only because of them and not because of Salman," she says. Now that the model-turned-actress has entered the house again, she wants to settle a score with all those who ill-treated her in the house. "There are certain issues which I want to clarify in the house. For instance, Sky maintains that he never abused anyone. Woh kehta hai ki usne logon ko gaali nahin di. But he hasn't only called me 'bhootni', but also bad-mouthed my family...
