If the contents of the leaked video are to be believed, Reliance can possibly be a game changer as it is going to launch Jio Infocomm this month.
A leaked video on YouTube by 'We love Jio' claims that Reliance Jio plans will be divided into two categories- one for users with 4G enabled smartphones and another for 3G users in the country.
The screenshots in the videos reveal a dedicated section to buy internet devices such as routers, VoLTE, Mi-Fi devices, and Reliance LYF smartphones.
The 'Prepaid' data plans include a JioFi Combo plan, which shows 75GB of 4G data with 90 days validity and a HD Voice Combo plan offering 75GB of data, 4500 minutes of talktime, 9,000 SMS with 90 days of validity. The pricing, however, is not revealed in the screenshots.
The video also shows a dedicated section on Reliance Jio's applications for the iOS and Android platforms such as JioPlay, Jio-on-Demand, JioBeats, JioMags, JioNews, JioDrive, etc. We expect Reliance to offer these services under a subscription based scheme with a free trial period for the first three months.
Last month, we heard that Reliance is going to offer Mi-Fi plans, priced between Rs 700 and Rs 800 with 40GB of data for a validity of three months. The report also mentioned that Reliance Jio will offer an array of data packs ranging between 40GB and 200GB with at least three months of validity. Besides, Reliance has already started shipping 4G SIMs and Wi-Fi dongles to Reliance Digital stores.
The latest video confirms that Reliance is sticking to the plans. We will keep updating the space with the information on the Reliance Jio services.
